JULIANNE KOCH CHRISTIANSEN
Julianne has been a competitive
swimmer since early childhood,
starting at Lindenhurst Swim Club and then moving to Team Suffolk.
During her age group career with Team Suffolk, Julianne established
numerous team records and qualified for USA Swimming Senior National
Championships in the 100 & 200 freestyle events. While swimming varsity
at Babylon junior and senior high school, Julianne established freestyle,
backstroke & individual medley school records which still stand today.
After high school graduation,
Julianne moved to NCAA Division I
swimming at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania where she studied
Computer Science and Engineering with a minor in Technical
Entrepreneurship. During her collegiate swimming career, Julianne
was a top ten finalist in the Patriot League where she specialized in
the 50-100-200 freestyle events and on her school's freestyle relays.
After college, Julianne took
several years off from swimming before
rediscovering her passion for the sport with our Excel masters team.
Julianne currently works as a Sales Engineer in the tech industry
providing hardware and software solutions to enterprise companies.
Outside the pool, Julianne enjoys spin classes and weight lifting,
and likes to travel, line dance and be outdoors with her dog Dallas.
