MIKE MANNARINO

A competitive cyclist and triathlete at heart, Mike brings his passion for
multi-sport front and center. Starting his cycling career at 12 years old
racing BMX bicycles, Mike progressed to Cat4 USACF road racing by age
16 and, within his year and a half of competing, jumped feet first into the Cat3
classification where he remained competitive for the next ten years. Introduced
to the sport of triathlon in 2003 by a friend who just signed him up for a laugh,
Mike took the challenge and never looked back. Eight years later, Mike has
successfully competed in a variety of Sprint, Olympic and 70.3 events.

Taking a break from competition, Mike redirected his attention to
coaching others full time. As a USA Cycling certified coach, personal
trainer, indoor cycle & Pilates instructor, Mike has owned and operated
two cycle and Pilates studios training thousands of people annually.

When not at the pool or coaching elsewhere, Mike's "day job" for the past
25 years is as a paramedic for the Nassau County Police Department, owner
of Ambassador Carpet & Restorations, IT professional, father to two young
boys, and almost-Dad to two young ladies and a teenage Brown University
boy as well. Yes, Mike enjoys the challenges of juggling a full plate!
